Good Composition

This is an example of good composition. The focal point which is the truck isn't centered but it still captures attention to the viewer because of the contrast in the color because it sticks out from everything else in the picture.

This is another example of good composition. The three plants form a triangle and allows the viewer's eyes to move around the page. There is also a good balance between the shape of the three plants being used.

Bad Composition

This is an example of bad composition. There is no real focal point or balance to the image. There is also no variety in color, subject or texture.

This is another example of bad composition. The focal point which is the statue is directly in the center of the picture. It also draws the attention away from the other things in the image such as the bench or trees in the background. There is also no real contrast between colors in the image.
